Handed down by generation in generation, faithfully guarding the secret of the work, from 1997 it assumes the denomination of "Delizie di Calabria", recovering and modernizing its ancient confectionery traditions that Reitano's realizes from over 100 years. Genuineness, fragrance, goodness are incomparable index of our success. The knowledge of the ancient Calabrian traditions, the thoughtful handcraft care and the respect of the methods of old workmanship, besides a long experience in the confectionery field, are for a long time guarantee of the high quality of our products. According to ancient recipes, with natural and genuine ingredients, our sweets maintain alive and unchanged the taste of once. Besides the typical biscuits done with the almonds and the best honey, we have a daily production of classical sweets of the traditional festivities: Pitte di S. Martino, Susumelle, Cantucci with grapes, Cantucci with almonds, Mustaccioli with honey etc. Every year we renew a great and ancient Christmas tradition preparing with impeccable punctuality the classical Calabrian nougat done with peanuts and almonds or with almonds only. Reitano's produces besides a new line of little nougats to the taste of orange, lemon, vanilla, milk chocolate, fondant chocolate: unforgettable authentic jewels.
